Well met!
You can call me Jens. This is my corner of the internet.
Here you will find my contact details. They are usually kept up to date, but check the timestamp at the bottom or right hand side of the page just to be sure. You will also find some files I have uploaded, and links I recommend. For the future, I might prefer to put bits on here as blog posts, articles, or photo galleries - you can find those under “Articles” above. You can subscribe to updates with this (possibly wonky) RSS feed.
To leave a message, have a chat or a video call, press the chat button. Any messages are forwarded to my mobile computing device aka “phone” so I can respond if I am awake and available.
I run Nextcloud to synchronise/backup/share files, address book, calendar, along with a bunch of other services (news reader, git forge, and more) managed by Yunohost. If you have use for an account on, I’m sure I can spare one!
If you want to send me a large file you can upload it to the Filedrop on my Nextcloud instance. Send me a mail as well though, unless you want to remain anonymous.
This website is hosted on an old computer, so don’t expect it to be available at all times. If it appears to be continuously unavailable over several days, do drop me an email to let me know! (And to make sure I have not been taken captive by brigands!) Also feel free to let me know if you come across any errors, dead links, or accessibility issues. Robots interested in this site are politely referred to robots.txt – humans may want to peruse humans.txt.
If you are using a screen reader: Welcome! This message is just for you. I hope you enjoy the rest of the site, and have no problems navigating it. There should be captions and alt text to any images or photos, especially if they illustrate or provide information to go with the text. The exception is some of the photo galleries that are just big dumps of more or less artistic / scenic photos - although I would happily narrate those if there is interest. Always feel free to email me, comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, it would be great to learn of ways to make my website more accessible. And I would be happy just to know that you are out there!
Feel free to have a wander. Tread lightly, breathe deeply, and do no harm.
